Thursday 12 September 2013 – BIG Questions

There are some big questions that are not fully answered as yet. The question I have is that if these big questions are deeply understood from an intellectual vantage point would that grant advantage for humans in the pursuit of evolution? I believe the answer is multifaceted in each approach and it requires both a yes and a no answer… Allow me to elaborate… With greater knowledge comes the ability to make empowered choices. The issue is that if we are unbalanced in our bias and focusing on only utilising only one of our extraordinary faculties (intellect as known through the physical senses) to perceive reality/information/energy are we not limiting what streams to us and what we have the capability to ‘know’…

Really though, what is knowing? What do most of us classify as knowing? What is it to know? Is it certainty? Is it clarity of understanding? Is it being able to identify with function? Is it chemical? Is it physical? Is it emotional? Is it demonstrated via action? Is it this and more…? I believe so… What is perhaps important here is to realise that there is so much more to learn, to ‘know’, to be, to perform in this ever-changing reality we are a part of… Relying purely on our physical senses and identifying with our sociocultural, psychosocial realities is one part of our existence… When we approach some of the question found in the article below from various vantage points we enhance the opportunity to ‘know’ at depths beyond current comprehension… SS.
