The blending of the relational dependancy of poor, disadvantaged people with those who abide by higher living standards is near. This article presents case points for equity, energy access to disadvantaged groups and an overall advocation for value change. There is a necessity for large corporations to relinquish their stronghold and influence on governmental policy and legislation surrounding the production and distribution of energy. The saddest reality is that as a global community we are not technologically stunned but rather our greatest hindrance is our relying on the monetary system, the clinging to outdated cultural practices and the bureaucracy associated with decisions made relating to health and global wellbeing.
