Thursday 15 March 2012 – Ecological connectedness

We are all one. We are connected and we rely on each other for survival. We are relational beings who are connected by the sphere that houses us. We are not separate to those outside of our own bodies. As a humanity we have created a tremendous disconnect between that which should be part of our lives in an intrinsic and meaningful way. We have placed ourselves at this perceived high point within a hierarchy where we as humans must dominate in order to feel whole. Survival of the fittest? I think not. As humans we have an uncanny ability to take out of context meanings and information. Consider this vantage point? Survival of the fittest as an integrated whole… Where the quality of our lives and survival techniques are dependant on the integrity and health of every living organism. An inclusive paradigm of thought, belief and action that elicited wholeness. If ecological systems and processes are well connected and balanced there is room for all to flourish. SS.
